Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all competitions and prize draws operated by 1UP COMPETITIONS LTD (“we”, “our”, “us”) via https://1upcompetitions.co.uk.
By entering any competition, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Our competitions are operated in compliance with the Gambling Act 2005 and are structured as either:
A skill-based prize competition; or
A prize draw with a free entry route
so that no Gambling Commission licence is required.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Entrants must:

Be a resident of the United Kingdom (unless otherwise stated)
Provide accurate and complete registration details
2.2 Employees of 1UP COMPETITIONS LTD and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
2.3 We reserve the right to request proof of age and identity before awarding any prize.
3. How to Enter
Paid Entry Method
Select the competition you wish to enter.
Choose the number of entries you would like.
Correctly answer the skill-based question (if applicable).
Complete checkout and payment.
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation to the address provided (info@1upcompetitions.co.uk will not be used for entry submissions).
Each purchased entry equals the number of entries stated on the competition page, including any promotional multipliers.
Free Postal Entry Route (Alternative Method of Entry – AMOE)
To enter without payment, send your entry by post including:
Full name
Full postal address
Date of birth
Email address
Contact phone number
Name of the competition
Answer to the skill-based question
Postal entries must be sent to:

Conditions:
One entry per envelope
Sent via standard post
No bulk or automated entries
Must arrive before the competition closing date
Free entries will be entered into the draw with equal weighting as paid entries.
4. Entry Limits
4.1 Maximum entries per person may apply per competition (see individual competition page).
4.2 We reserve the right to disqualify entries that:
Are incomplete
Contain false information
Are suspected of fraud
Are submitted via automated systems
5. Competition Closing Date
5.1 Each competition will display a closing date and time on its product page.
5.2 We reserve the right to:
Extend a competition
Close a competition early if maximum entries are reached
Cancel or amend a competition if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances
If cancelled, all paid entries will be refunded.
6. Winner Selection
6.1 Winners will be selected by:
Random draw using a verified random number generator; or
Judging of correct skill-based answers
6.2 Draws may be conducted live on social media or recorded for transparency.
6.3 Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided during entry.
6.4 If a winner does not respond within 14 days, we reserve the right to redraw.
7. Prizes
7.1 The prize will be as described on the competition page.
7.2 If a prize becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to offer:
A suitable alternative; or
A cash alternative of equal value
7.3 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
8. Payment & Refund Policy
8.1 All entry purchases are final.
8.2 Refunds will only be issued if:
The competition is cancelled; or
Required by law
8.3 Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
9.1 We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2 Personal data is used for:

10. Publicity
10.1 Winners agree to the publication of:

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We are not liable for:
Technical website failures
Payment processor failures
Indirect or consequential losses
12. Fraud Prevention
1UP COMPETITIONS LTD reserves the right to:
Void fraudulent entries
Refuse or cancel entries
Suspend accounts involved in abuse
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
